Children’s Book Author

When I’m not wandering cobblestone streets or hunting down the perfect wedge of cheese, I’m usually writing stories for younger readers.

I’ve always believed that food isn’t just something we eat — it’s culture, history, and sometimes even mystery. That idea led me to create The Order of the Golden Ladle, a middle-grade series set in 1927 Paris (and beyond), where a secret society of chefs solves culinary adventures. Think bustling markets, hidden recipes, and a dash of intrigue — written for kids, but with enough flavor that adults tell me they enjoy them too.

The Golden Ladle books are just one part of my writing life. I also have quirky anthologies full of weird, funny tales, my Highwind Chronicles of medieval apprentices and magic, and even a series about science-minded teens caught up in futuristic spy adventures. Different genres, same spirit: curiosity, discovery, and fun.
